How do I use Weather Academy?

Start with our first course, Meteorology 101, here! Log in the save your progress and earn a certificate if you would like, and then you can take the course through the course content guide on the course page! Don’t forget to take the checkpoints to test your knowledge after a section!

Why Weather Academy?

Weather Academy is the most modern and easy-to-use platform for learning about the weather. Our team includes Joseph Patton, a meteorologist with a Bachelor in Science in Meteorology and Master in Science in Meteorology, who is currently a research scientist studying lightning at the University of Maryland – College Park. When you use Weather Academy, you are learning accurate, interesting, and relevant information about meteorology from an expert in the field.
